IMB-CNM, CSIC. Campus UAB. Bellaterra (Barcelona)

March 24th, 2020 Due to the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in Spain, it has been postponed until futher notice

Quantum technologies is rapidly evolving field that is expected to have a large impact in society in the coming years. The Spanish Research Council (CSIC) has set-up an interdisciplinary community (QTEP, Quantum technologies platform) with backgrounds in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Fabrication-wise, the community profits from experts in the fields of Nanoscience, Integrated Optics, Applied Chemistry and Electrical Engineering, among other areas , that are required to build components for quantum communication, quantum measurements and quantum simulation.

QTEP organizes one-day workshop with the double objective of:

  • Presenting the activities and capabilities of CSIC for manufacturing of components for quantum technologies
  • Triggering collaboration between researchers to address challenges and prepare joint proposals in the area of Quantum Technologies,

The workshop is open to all the researchers interested in learning about the possibilities for manufacturing devices and looking of synergies and collaborations in Quantum Technologies.

The workshop is free, but the attendance to the workshop requires pre-registration.

Carlos Dominguez (IMB-CNM, CSCI)

Francesc Perez-Murano (IMB-CNM, CSIC)

David Raventós (IFF-CSIC)
